Friday Afternoon is Worldwide

Montana & Dan are the musical duo Friday Afternoon, based in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Montana (guitar, vocals) and Dan (violin, bass, vocals) play a unique blend of musical jams, songs about nature, family, and life. The style of music they play is indie, alternative, dreamy bedroom vibes, inspired by artists like Beach House, Low, and Built to Spill. They strive to create an atmosphere centered in peace and joy, that allows their music to touch the souls of every person.

Montana & Dan are the hosts of the radio show, The Afternoon Club, on 107.9 KLNX-LP Radio Free Minturn, which occurs every Friday, 2-4 PM. The show can be streamed locally on the radio from Vail to Wolcott and online from anywhere at www.radiofreeminturn.org. The Afternoon Club plays music personally curated by DJs Montana & Dan and also highlights local and world events.

Friday Afternoon encompasses even more than music, such as photography, art, and speaking about their values with others. Their values consist of family, nature, and peace. The all-encompassing Friday Afternoon hopes that their work and values reach all over the world and inspire others.

When not playing or listening to music, Montana & Dan can be found reading, spending time by the river, and taking care of their 3-year-old son.
